  • The Original Chopper Giveaway

When Original Bike Spirits teamed up with Orange County Choppers to design and give away a custom motorcycle, three set out to create a promotion that reflected both the toughness and the passion embodied by the two iconic brands. The Original Chopper Giveaway was born, inviting OBS’s Facebook fans to upload a picture or video illustrating “what makes them and their bike an original” for a chance to win the custom chopper. The promotion’s design reflected the grit and strength of OBS, and the picture gallery created a space for motorcycle enthusiasts to chat with one another and showcase their prized bikes.

  • Young America coverage in WSJ

With more than 10 million cribs recalled in recent years, parents today are extremely concerned about crib safety – especially when it comes to imported products. Young America, Stanley Furniture Company’s infant and youth brand, responded to this customer concern by consolidating its manufacturing operations to Robbinsville, N.C. in late 2009. Prior to that, the brand’s beds and cribs were produced outside the U.S. This rare move not only provided parents with peace of mind regarding the safety of Young America cribs, it gave the brand a competitive advantage over crib producers that import their products.

  • Garden Lights Holiday Nights

Our client Atlanta Botanical Garden recently debuted its first annual holiday light show, Garden Lights, Holiday Nights. Visitors can stroll through a dazzling winter wonderland garden lit with more than a million twinkling – and energy-efficient! – lights. Live music and carolers add to the fun. The walkable display features more than three times as many lights as the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree and offers an unobstructed view of the Atlanta skyline.

We created the advertising for Garden Lights, Holiday Nights and are excited to be a part of this in-town holiday experience. We're betting it'll soon join the ranks of the Pink Pig and the Phipps Mall Santa as holiday "must-dos" for Atlantans. To learn more about the display or to purchase tickets, visit AtlantaBotanicalGarden.org.

  • Giving Thanks

Our Thanksgiving tradition at three is a classic pot luck lunch before everyone heads out for the holiday. Jackson brings the turkey, everyone else brings an array of casseroles, veggies, pies and even the occasional gingerbread house. Of course, Thanksgiving means more than just good food, and as a reminder about the meaning behind the feast, we all gathered around to watch this inspiring TED video about gratitude before digging in. It's a great reminder to slow down and soak up all the many blessings that surround us each and every day.

  • Big Show for Little Voices Radiothon

It's never too early to give back to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta (even 4:00 in the morning).

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta recently joined Dave FM to help with the Big Show for Little Voices Radiothon. To support our client and this good cause, three employees manned the Radiothon phones during the early shift for the first two days of the show.

With headsets on and coffee mugs in hand, we were able to hear story after story of the impact Children's makes on the lives of patients and their families – and collect hundreds of dollars of donations in the process. Over three days, the Radiothon raised more than 400,000 dollars. We felt grateful for the opportunity to do our part to support these courageous families and the staff at Children's who are dedicated to saving lives.

  • Thinking about what kids drink

Our challenge was to create messaging that would encourage children's consumption of water rather than sugar-laden beverages while appealing to third through fifth graders – no lectures, no boring educational materials. Our team used a variety of tactics including morning video announcements in classrooms, in-school signage and take-home water bottle giveaways to teach students (and remind parents) to "think about what you drink."

  • New Beds For Tornado Victims

The three team was in Alabama this month to support Simmons Bedding Company and retailer Bedzzz Express as they provided 188 new mattresses to families in Birmingham and Tuscaloosa affected by April's tornadoes. Ed Sanders of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition joined the team in Birmingham to help distribute beds. Local relief organizations, The Christian Services Mission in Birmingham and the Temporary Emergency Services in Tuscaloosa, were instrumental in helping identify and locate families in need. Throughout the two-city relief effort days, recipients shared stories of coming together to rebuild their communities and aid neighbors who lost everything. One ofour favorite inspiring stories was of two local families who have raised enough money to rebuild 15 homes for victims free of cost.

  • Scarecrows in the Garden

For the past ten years, Atlanta area residents, families and businesses have participated in the Atlanta Botanical Garden's Scarecrows in the Garden. During the month of October, more than 100 handcrafted scarecrows are on display throughout the garden. Scarecrows are judged and prizes are awarded to the most creative entries. This year, three employees Art Reid, Brad Ramsey, Mandi Gibson and Mary Czekalinski all submitted scarecrows to the contest. Winners were announced at the season's first Fest of Ale event, a Thursday night tradition where Garden visitors can enjoy seasonal brews and live music. Even though three didn't take home any blue ribbons, we certainly enjoyed taking in the sights – and tastes – of Fest of Ale!

  • Welcome to Moe's!

We are thrilled to announce that Moe's Southwestern Grill is the newest addition to our client roster. three will handle 2012 media buying and placement for Moe's Atlanta co-op.

The first Moe's restaurant opened in Atlanta in 2000 with the mission to bring the highest-quality ingredients to every guest, every day, everywhere. Moe's quickly made waves with its deliciously fresh southwestern fare, pop-culture inspired menu and atmosphere, and of course the popular "Welcome to Moe's!" greeting. Since then, Moe's has grown to more than 400 restaurants while still doing what it does best – putting smiles on customers faces one Homewrecker burrito and Funk Meister taco at a time. We are excited to roll up our sleeves and get to work on the Moe's business.

  • Here Come the Bridesmaids

They say the clothes make the man, but in the world of bridal fashion, it's all about the dress. We've loved watching our client, Lori Allen of Bridals by Lori, transform women into glamorous brides on TLC's hit show SAY YES TO THE DRESS, and we are thrilled to announce that that the salon will serve as the setting for TLC's newest bridal spin-off, SAY YES TO THE DRESS: BRIDESMAIDS. Choosing the right wedding gown isn't an easy task for a discerning bride-to-be, and when a pack of opinionated bridesmaids is thrown into the mix in search of the perfect bridesmaid dress, things can get ugly fast. Luckily Lori and her team are up to the challenge, serving not only as fashion experts but also as counselors, confidants and referees. So bring on the meltdowns and mayhem – we can't wait to watch the drama unfold. Airing on Fridays at 10 p.m. ET/PT, the show will follow the second season of SAY YES TO THE DRESS: ATLANTA, which premiered July 8 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
